Viewers feast out on MasterChef

Reality cooking show MasterChef has become a Thursday night treat for viewers.

The Network Ten series, with 1.172 million viewers, topped OzTAM's overnight ratings, while Nine News (1.046 million) was second.

Ten also had success with The Project, in the 7-7.30pm timeslot.

The Project (708,000) was eighth while Home And Away (622,000) was ninth.
