Video shows pod of whales swimming by kayakers off Sydney beach
A group of kayakers had a delightful paddle alongside a pod of whales who popped up near a popular Sydney beach this morning.
The whales swam around the kayakers close to the shore of Maroubra Beach just before 6am.
Drone vision shows the whales gliding along underneath the water surface as the sun rises along the eastern beaches.

Whales are currently migrating between their summer feeding grounds in Antarctica and their winter breeding grounds in Australia's north.
They can travel about 10,000km during their migrations each year.
