Victorian police deploy road spikes in dramatic arrest

Victorian police were forced to use road spikes to arrest a man who had allegedly eluded them for more than eight hours.
The 26-year-old’s white Hilux was intercepted near Bairnsdale, in the East Gippsland region, today after police dramatically cornered him.
Police allege they had been hunting him through Gippsland for more than eight hours.

He has been charged with driving at cattle and setting fires in a paddock earlier in the day.
