Victorian driver allegedly caught five times over the limit
A 38-year-old Melbourne driver is expected to be charged on summons with traffic-related offences after he allegedly blew a blood alcohol reading of 0.269.
Police were operating a random breath testing site in Gardenvale, south-east Melbourne on Wednesday night when they pulled the driver over about 10.20pm.
It is alleged the man returned a positive blood alcohol reading.

He then accompanied police for an evidentiary test where he returned an alleged reading of 0.269 - more than five times the legal of 0.05.
The driver's licence was immediately suspended for 12 months.
