Swan Hill brawl: Man dies of head injuries after violent street fight

A man has died at the scene of a street brawl in regional Victoria and another man is in custody.

Homicide detectives were called to Swan Hill after emergency services were called to the fight on Campbell Street about 1.15am today.

The victim is yet to be formally identified.

Police believe he sustained a head injury during the fight and are asking people to avoid the scene.
