Victoria driver killed in tree collision

A driver has died in central Victoria after their car burst into flames when they lost control of it and crashed into a tree.

Police say the accident happened on Thursday night in Gower, near Castlemaine.

The driver, who has not yet been formally identified, died at the scene.
