Would-be thief hungry and thirsty in Vic

A Melbourne teen gave a would-be thief food and a drink after she told him she was forced to break into his home.

The 18-year-old man confronted the woman after finding her rummaging through cupboards in his Bayswater North home on November 10.

Police say the woman then left, before returning a short time later to collect some of her belongings that she had previously left in the garage.
