Woman tied up in frightening home invasion

A knife-wielding bandit is on the run after tying up a woman during a frightening Melbourne home invasion.

Police on Friday said the man knocked on the front door of the Glenroy home and forced his way in around 9am on July 14.

He then bound the woman's arms and legs, leaving her baby unattended nearby, before telling her to stay in the bedroom for 10 minutes as he fled with cash from her purse.
