Woman stabbed in home in Victoria

A woman has been stabbed in a home in Bendigo early this morning and is fighting for life.

Police were called to the home in California Gully about 5.15am this morning where a woman had suffered life-threatening injuries.

She was taken to hospital and is now in a serious condition.

It is not believed anyone has been arrested over the attack.

The 30-year-old woman will now be airlifted to Melbourne for further treatment.
