Woman sexually assaulted on doorstep of Melbourne home

A woman has been sexually assaulted on the doorstep of a Melbourne home, after being followed home by an unknown man.

Police are appealing for public help after the 22-year-old woman was allegedly followed and assaulted by the man thought to be about 20-years-old as she tried to get into the front door of a Coburg house on Thursday June 23 at about 7.30pm.

Police have released CCTV footage of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
