Woman found dead in Melbourne house fire

A woman has been found dead following a house fire in Melbourne's west.

Fire crews were called to a house fire in Pro Hart Way, Caroline Springs, about 9.45pm on Thursday, where they found a 50-year-old woman dead.

Police are not treating her death as suspicious.

Another woman, 30, who was inside the house was taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.
