Woman found dead at Vic beach identified

A mystery woman found dead at a Melbourne beach has been identified a week after her body was discovered in the shallows.

The body found in front of the Black Rock Life Saving Club on January 31 was a 30-year-old Richmond woman whose death is not being treated as suspicious, police say.

The family of the woman, whose name was not released, came forward after police released a computer generated image and pictures of her bathers.
