Woman charged after kids stole handbag

A woman has been charged over the theft of a handbag by two children at a Melbourne restaurant last month.

Police say two children, both aged under six, entered the Southbank restaurant on September 12, and snatched the handbag from which credit cards were later used.

A 35-year-old from Cranbourne has been charged with a number of theft and deception offences.
