Woman charged after fatal Vic smash

An alleged drug-affected driver has faced court over a collision that killed a woman and seriously injured others.

Police allege Rupanyup woman Clerissa Stocker failed a drug blood test following the crash last year in northwestern Victoria.

They have also charged her with culpable driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death and other traffic offences.

The two-car collision occurred on the Western Highway, about two kilometres from Stawell, in March last year.

Two children received minor injuries in the smash.

Ms Stocker, 26, faced Horsham Magistrates Court on Wednesday. She has been released on bail and will appear for a committal mention on May 6.
