Video of Vic shooting murder: court
Footage from surveillance cameras at a Melbourne shopping centre car park will be used as evidence against a man accused of shooting another man dead at a bus stop.
George Marrogi faced the Melbourne Magistrates' Court via video link on Tuesday accused of murdering 24-year-old Kadir Ors at Campbellfield Plaza in September.
"This is a case that relies heavily on footage and video," defence counsel Christopher Dane QC told the court.
The 27-year-old is accused of firing multiple shots at Mr Ors on September 26 as the victim sat at a bus stop with two other men.
Marrogi was charged with his murder the following day and has been in custody since.
At an out-of-sessions hearing on September 27, police said the victim was hit in the legs and buttocks and tried to run away.
Marrogi allegedly followed Mr Ors into a nearby car park before fleeing in a car.
The man died in hospital that night.
Marrogi will remain in custody and reappear in court on February 13.
