AAP
The number of Victorian criminals who committed serious sexual offences while on parole has dropped by more than 60 per cent in a year.
Major changes to Victoria's parole system were put in place after Adrian Ernest Bayley murdered Jill Meagher in Brunswick in 2012.
The Adult Parole Board annual report shows there were 20 paroled criminals convicted of serious sexual offences in 2014-15, down from 54 the year before.
