A Victorian man has been charged with multiple counts of rape and sexual assault after a woman was assaulted after being picked up at a Geelong bus stop last year.
It is alleged the 69-year-old Thomson man picked up a 41-year-old woman from a bus stop in Geelong on September 13, 2016, before driving her to an unknown location and raping her.
He was charged with three counts of rape and four counts of sexual assault on Tuesday and was bailed to appear at Geelong Magistrate's Court on Friday.
