Victorian man dies in hospital after crash

A Victorian driver has died in hospital after losing control and crashing into a tree in the early hours of Friday morning.

The 27-year-old's death comes a day after Victoria Police urged motorists to take care after a tragic 24 hours claimed five lives on the state's rural roads.

The man, from Warranwood, man died in hospital after the crash on Parkville Drive at Berwick at around 3.30am on Friday.
