A Victorian fruit packer has been back-paid $23,000 after being short-changed for three years, following a Fair Work Ombudsman investigation.

Flavours Fruit and Veg paid the worker, aged in her 50s, the cash after often paying her a flat rate for all hours, while she worked at a Tullamarine warehouse between July 2014 and August last year.

The company agreed to a full audit or its pay practices for the past three years, rectified any underpayments and made a $5000 donation to community legal centre Jobwatch.
