Victoria man dies in work machine accident

A man is dead after getting trapped in machinery at a worksite in Victoria's north.

Emergency services were called to a manufacturing business at Shepparton after reports a man was trapped in a machine about 12.40pm on Friday.

The man died at the scene and the death is being investigated by WorkSafe. Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
