Vic woman caught six times over the limit

A woman has been caught driving at six times the legal blood alcohol limit in a Melbourne street.

The 42-year-old woman was driving in Brighton when police pulled over the vehicle about 4.40pm on Sunday.

She returned a positive breath-test reading at the roadside and a follow-up test at Moorabbin police station showed a reading of 0.315 per cent.

The Ormond woman had her licence suspended on the spot and she will be charged by summons requiring her to attend court.
