Vic thief pulls machete on store manager

A man has walked out of a Geelong bottle shop with a trolley full of alcohol and threatened the manager with a machete.

The man, said to be aged in his 30s, entered the Corio bottle shop on Sunday and filled a trolley with boxes of alcohol before walking out the door to his car.

Once outside, police say the man threatened the store manager with a machete before loading the alcohol into a car, which had stolen plates, and driving away.
