A man accused of stealing a luxury car with a six-month-old baby inside it from outside a Melbourne school has been denied bail.
Gurkan Yildirim, 25, appeared via video link at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with five offences, including child stealing.
He told the court he was not in a position to apply for bail as he was unrepresented, so his case was adjourned for a committal mention on February 8 next year.
