Vic stabbing accused still on run

Police are yet to locate a man wanted over a violent stabbing attack in Geelong.

A 36-year-old woman is in a stable condition in Geelong Hospital after she was stabbed in the back during an altercation at her Kilgour Street home at 12.35pm on Saturday.

A Victoria Police spokeswoman said officers are searching for a 43-year-old man, who is known to the victim, after he fled the scene following the attack.
