Vic records sixth motorcycle death for Feb

A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a vehicle in Victoria's Gippsland region.

Police say the rider, a man aged in his 40s, was then hit by a second vehicle after the initial collision at Nar Nar Goon on Wednesday night.

Both drivers are being questioned by police.

For the month of February, six out of the nine fatalities on Victoria's roads have been motorcycle riders.
