Pug life: Victorian pug becomes country firefighter for a day

A Victorian pug briefly gave up his doggy lifestyle to join the fire brigade.

Angus the pug was strolling down a Ballarat street yesterday, when he caught the eye of a Country Fire Authority driver and hitched a lift back to the fire station.

Once he reached the District 15 station he was initiated into the firies with pats and tummy rubs.

Unfortunately for Angus, a local ranger scuppered his plans and scanned his microchip, sending him back to his grateful owners.
