Vic PSO charged over assault, stalking

A Victorian Protective Services Officer has been charged with assault and stalking following a two-year investigation.

The officer, from the Transit Safety Division, was suspended on Monday and has been charged with assault, stalking, using a carriage service to harass and contravening a court order, following an investigation that began in August 2017.

He will face court "at a later date", Victoria Police said in a statement on Friday.
