Vic police investigate road rage bashing

A truck driver bashed a pedestrian unconscious in a vicious road rage attack in Melbourne and police are now searching for witnesses.
A 51-year-old Toorak man was crossing a road in South Yarra on Tuesday morning when he got into an argument with a truck driver travelling along the road.
The driver then got out of the truck and the men started fighting.

The man was kicked unconscious by the truckie who then jumped back in his vehicle and drove off, police said on Wednesday.
Police are calling for witnesses who saw the incident, particularly what occurred up the road before the fight took place, to contact them.
