Vic murder accused in court

A Melbourne man accused of murdering another man has flagged raising a self-defence argument at his committal hearing.
Henry Rose, 58, of Caulfield North, fronted the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Monday charged with one count of murder after police discovered the body of a 46-year-old man in a Melbourne home in January.
Rose's lawyer told the court about 15 witnesses would comment on the men's relationship during a four-day contested committal hearing in August, and how that relationship might "lend itself" to an argument of self-defence.
