The ministerial code of conduct is gone from the Victorian premier's website - so will a wave of corruption inevitably follow?

Premier Daniel Andrews says: no.

"Probity standards haven't changed," he said in Question Time on Tuesday.

The code of conduct was introduced by former coalition premier Ted Baillieu and maintained by his successor Denis Napthine.

The opposition noted the code had been taken down from the premier of Victoria's website, but Mr Andrews says nothing has changed.

The code required ministers and parliamentary secretaries to reveal conflicts of interest, act with integrity and accept accountability for their offices.

"We all need to uphold the highest standards," Mr Andrews said.
