Vic man to face court after evading police

A man will front a Melbourne court after he sped away from police trying to pull him over.

The 37-year-old Carrum Downs man was charged with conduct endangering life, along with a multitude of other driving offences, after he raced away from police trying to intercept him because of reports he was driving erratically.

Police did not pursue the car and he has been bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates Court on July 28.
