Vic man shot in leg turns up at hospital

A Melbourne man has taken himself to hospital with a suspected gunshot wound to the leg.

Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad are investigating after the man in his 30s turned up at the Northern Hospital on Friday morning.

Police believe the man was shot at an address in Meadow Heights about 10.15am.
