A Victorian man is recovering in hospital after being shot in the chest.
The 37-year-old is in a stable condition in Royal Melbourne Hospital after being shot once at 3am on Thursday in Strathfieldsaye, southeast of Bendigo, police say.
The shooting is not suspicious, they say.
