Vic man in court over toddler death

A young man charged with murdering a three-year-old girl in Victoria has appeared in court.

The girl was taken to a hospital in Horsham on 17 September last year, where she later died, police say in a statement.

The Horsham man, 21, was charged with one count of murder and faced Horsham Magistrates Court on Tuesday, where the matter was adjourned for a committal mention in the same court on August 24.
