Vic man hurt in failed skateboard trick

A Melbourne man attempting a skateboard trick on a train platform has been left with serious leg injuries after his leg was caught when a train came.

The man in his 40s tried to do an "ollie", failed, and stuck his leg out to try to stop his skateboard going onto the tracks before an oncoming train arrived at Windsor Station in Prahran.

His leg was stuck between the train and the platform and he was taken to hospital with a badly injured leg.
