Vic man held on drugs, weapons charges

A man has been charged with drugs and weapons offences following a joint raid by state and federal authorities at a Lakes Entrance house.
The 26-year-old man, who faces 12 charges, has been remanded to appear in the Latrobe Valley Magistrates Court on Friday.
The raid on Thursday morning by Victoria Police, Australian Federal Police and the Australian Border Force is part of Taskforce Icarus, set up to prevent the importation of drugs and weapons through international air cargo and postal services.
