Vic man fights sex assault charge

A man accused of sexually assaulting a woman by kissing and stroking her cheek and stroking her thigh is challenging the charges in a Melbourne court.
Theivigan Panchalingham, aged in his late 30s, is accused of assaulting the woman in September and December 2015 in Broadmeadows, according to court documents released to the media.
The Broadmeadows Magistrates' Court hearing on Thursday morning was closed to reporters and the public while the alleged victim gave her evidence and will possibly remained closed for the rest of the hearing.
