Victoria's road toll is in double figures - and is double what it was at the same time last year.

So far, 10 people have died on the state's roads in 2015 - only five had lost their lives on this date in 2014.

A 20-year-old Geelong West man and a 73-year-old Ringwood woman have died from injuries received in separate crashes at Stonehaven, near Geelong, and Killingworth, near Yea, on Monday.

Both crashes are believed to have been caused by one car veering into the wrong lane.
