Vic man charged with trying to ram police

A Victorian man has been charged with a raft of offences after he allegedly tried to ram a police car trying to pull him over.

Officers tried to intercept the man's vehicle in Moe about 12pm on Tuesday before he drove away, before doing a U-turn and driving towards their car.

The man abandoned his vehicle but was later arrested and charged with 12 offences, and remanded into custody to appear at Latrobe Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
