Vic man charged over threats to councillor

A man has been charged with threatening to kill an inner-Melbourne local councillor.
Police say the 38-year-old Moe man has been charged with threats to kill, threats to inflict serious injury and stalking-related matters involving a councillor from the City of Yarra, which covers suburbs including Fitzroy, Collingwood and Richmond.
The man has been bailed by police to appear in the Latrobe Valley Magistrates Court on October 6.
