Vic man charged over indecent assaults

A man has been charged over a string of indecent assaults in inner Melbourne.

Ryan Thomas, 22, of Fitzroy, was arrested on Sunday afternoon and faced an out-of-sessions court hearing charged with indecent assault, unlawful assault and wilful and obscene exposure.

The alleged assaults occurred last month in Fitzroy North near Rushall Railway Station and along the Merri Creek Trail.

Thomas was remanded to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court later on Monday.
