Vic man charged over hit and run

A man has been charged following a hit and run in regional Victoria.

A 43-year-old cyclist was riding on the Murray Valley Highway near Cobram on September 12, when a 52-year-old Murray Valley Highway near Cobram man allegedly ran him down in his car and drove away.

The driver will front the Cobram Magistrates' Court charged with negligently causing serious injury and failing to stop.
