Vic man charged over child car crash death

A man who allegedly crashed a car into a tree, killing a four-year-old girl has been charged.

The 25-year-old Beaufort man allegedly drove the car into a tree in April last year in Ballarat, fatally injuring the young passenger.

He was charged on Thursday with numerous offences including culpable driving and dangerous driving causing death and is due to appear in at Ballarat Magistrates' Court on January 23.
