Victorian man charged with alleged 2011 murder of baby

A man has been charged with child homicide after a 13-week-old baby boy died of suspicious injuries in 2011.

Police said the eight-week-old baby was found unconscious at a Colac home on October 15, 2011.

The baby was resuscitated by doctors but died in hospital on October 23.

The Irrewarra man was today charged with murder and child homicide in relation to the death.

He is expected to re-appear in the Geelong Magistrate's Court today.
