A man has appeared in court after he crashed a stolen car into a pole in Melbourne's CBD after allegedly committing a series of crimes.
The 36-year-old Ballarat man appeared before Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Saturday charged with nine offences, including aggravated burglary, reckless conduct endangering life, and theft of motor vehicle.
The man was taken into custody on Friday after the stolen car he was allegedly driving crashed into a pole and flipped on Swanston Street.
