Vic man arrested with ecstasy, cash, gun

A young Victorian man has been charged after police allegedly found three kilograms of ecstasy, a fake gun and $40,000 in cash at his house.

The 18-year-old was pulled over on Peninsula Link in Frankston on Saturday night when police allegedly found ecstasy tablets, cocaine and cash, police said on Tuesday.

Officers searched his Bulleen home on Sunday and allegedly discovered three kilograms of rock and tablet ecstasy, an imitation firearm and $40,000-plus in cash.

He has been remanded to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court in February charged over trafficking a commercial quantity of ecstasy, trafficking and possessing cocaine, possessing proceeds of crime and firearm offences.
