Vic man arrested over historical rape

A man has been arrested 30 years after an abduction and violent rape on Victoria's coast.

Cold case detectives arrested the 53-year-old Geelong man on Wednesday over the attack that allegedly took place in Lorne in 1986.

The man will be interviewed in relation to abduction, aggravated rape, attempted aggravated rape and assault.
