Vic man admits murdering father of two

A Melbourne man who had denied murdering a father of two has changed his plea to guilty as his trial was about to get under way.

Jonathon Sporton, 22, pleaded guilty to murdering Roger Bertocci in December 2014 when he faced the Victorian Supreme Court on Tuesday for what was to be the beginning of his trial.

Sporton, of North Carlton, will return to court in April for a plea hearing.
