A man who slammed a rival fan's head into a rail during an AFL finals game has been ordered to perform 200 hours community service.
Self-employed carpenter Bruno John Commisso, 47, pleaded guilty to unlawful assault and recklessly causing injury after he lashed out at two men at the MCG elimination final between Essendon and North Melbourne last September.
He was issued a 12-month community corrections order in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday, after conceding he couldn't live with himself and deserved to be punished.
