Victorian Liberals review set to keep East West Link policy

Victoria's opposition will review some of its policies in the wake of their election loss but stand by their decision to build the East West Link.
Newly-elected Liberal leader Matthew Guy says with a growing population Melbourne needs new infrastructure.
"This is a new era for the Liberal party, it's a new era for leadership," he told reporters on Thursday.
"Importantly we'll have a review to see what worked, what didn't and what we need to have a greater look at going forward.
"I believe the East West Link, the Melbourne Rail link and infrastructure projects that are essential for a city growing at 80,000 people per year certainly should not be jettisoned."
